For those concerned about GULC I signed up from CRS late last cycle but got a solicited waiver from them. I would think it's probably best to wait until mid-August at least to see if you get more unsolicited waivers.

One from U Cincinnati.
Why are no schools near me sending me any? Is NY trying to get rid of me?

Pretty sure they're trying to accomplish getting you to their school... But I have been wrong before....i really don't know what they are trying to accomplish with this, but its funny that they are all doing this
Lol, joking aside, a full scholarship is a full scholarship. I am sure that option makes sense for some people out there with high enough scores. Got the same e-mails from Florida Coastal, Liberty and U of Phoenix so far.
Fee waivers from:
U of Cincy
U of Kansas
Michigan State
U of Richmond
WUSTL
William and Mary
Tulane
No Harvard yet. The people in their admissions office must be out on Summer holiday...

Obviously there are differences, just saying if you have no scholarship offers at large schools, and are not financially well-off, and/or do not require a prestigious degree for whatever it is you are looking to do, maybe in some way, shape, or form it makes sense for you.deputydog wrote:That's right d00d. To make a wise move for whatever you want to do you need to either A) T14 or B) Regional Powerhouse. The only time this isn't the case is if your parent is in charge of a very lucrative firm and will hire you no matter what. In that case, take University of Phoenix full ride.raferna3 wrote:Obviously there are differences, just saying if you have no scholarship offers at large schools, and are not financially well-off, and/or do not require a prestigious degree for whatever it is you are looking to do, maybe in some way, shape, or form it makes sense for you.deputydog wrote:That's right d00d. There is no situation (except situation described above) where it is feasible to do what you want to do from a shit school. Unless what you want to do is practice shitlaw in a shithole and be in a shitton of debt.

Reread what I write bro, unless you have guaranteed good job lined up. Not all full schollies are worth it.Sourrudedude wrote:That's what the scholarship is fordeputydog wrote:There is no situation (except situation described above) where it is feasible to do what you want to do from a shit school. ETA - I see your point, but your COL loans still leaves you in too much debt.
This is getting off track though. I only received TTT waivers today. Anyone get anything good?

Got one today from Charleston.
Where is my one from Seton Hall? My stats are good, a bit high even, for Seton Hall. Seton Hall, why have you forsaken me...?

You got me excited! Lol... Though UW is most likely a lost cause for me anyway. They're all about the GPA and all I can offer is a solid LSAT.Sourrudedude wrote:Shit you're right, I hadn't read it yet.raferna3 wrote:I just received an email from them also... if i get a fee waiver from a school i'd be willing to attend, i would apply even if there were very slim odds of being acceptedraferna3 wrote:You got me excited! Lol... Got the email from UW as well...kind of made me mad that they would tease like that. I am hoping they are still going to send out waivers.

Just got a UCLA waiver too.
It had a note saying: "If you are interested in starting law school next month (August 12th), we may have a few seats available." It then told me where to inquire about this.
Is that common?
