What are you paying for both of these schools? If you want to go to law school then keep your debt at a minimum.

Thanks all for your help.
I think I might major in Psychology...is that a good backup plan if I don't get into the law school of my choice?

For Psych, keep in mind there is a short ceiling without grad school.

+1. Some possible choices though: business, econ, computer science (not really engineering per se). The first two aren't even that great. There's a reason why STEM majors have decent job prospects.dingbat wrote:FootballCanIGetAnAmen wrote:Are there any other majors then that would call for a higher salary...Nova wrote:If thats what you somthing you want to do with the rest of your life, yes.CanIGetAnAmen wrote:Thanks all for your help.

So much this.Regulus wrote:CanIGetAnAmen, I think that you are fundamentally approaching this the wrong way. You've basically jumped in a car and taken off without a destination. Instead of aimlessly driving about, you need to first determine your goal and then work backwards from there. Don't select a major just because it will make you lots of money. Yes, earning money is important, but so is doing something that you enjoy. So, having said that, try to decide what you want to do in the future, then make sure that you can earn enough to make a living doing that thing, and finally see what major most people doing that thing graduated with.
The reason why (most) people want a career that will make a lot of money is to "convert" that money into happiness through various means--e.g., buying stuff and meaningful experiences, security. If you can directly derive happiness from a career, you will have in effect cut out much of the middleman. You should be aiming for a career that will both provide happiness and money (to then buy more happiness).

I suggest avoiding an undergraduate institution that allows you to major in neuroscience.

Yeah dude. In my class there are about 100 girls, and probably 10 of them are hotties.CanIGetAnAmen wrote:Are there any hotties at law school?
There are also a few 2Ls and 3Ls who are straight dimes.
More importantly though, "Im in law school" works wonders on undergrads.
