Seriously though, no need to get your pants in a twist, Chicago. There wasn't even a brief salutation in the email they sent to me lol

NP both send waivers.
Solicited? From what I saw in last years thread NP dont and say wait for crs (unless you had something special like tfa) and my experience with Penn this cycle was the same.

I got one today. Just replied "Thank you so much!". I don't think it hurts to respond. I don't know that it hurts not to respond though either. If you keep it super short, its easy for them to scan and delete pretty quick. But I actually got an email back saying something like "You're very welcome. I hope to see your app".

My face when I wrote a short distinct and on point thank you for the email, I look forward to sending my app in type reply. (To show legitimate interest. They answer only with an identical form email a couple days later.

I haven't had any yet. I looked to see about Chicago, Columbia, and Cornell - nope.

I also say thank you - something doesn't feel right if they are waiving a $80-$100 fee.

I'm going to try to solicit Penn. Will report back.
