Seriously though, no need to get your pants in a twist, Chicago. There wasn't even a brief salutation in the email they sent to me loljames.bungles wrote:lol they had a question about my resume and sent a really rude email to me toowalterwhite wrote:Chicago sent the rudest email of all the schools I solicited. Solicited? From what I saw in last years thread NP dont and say wait for crs (unless you had something special like tfa) and my experience with Penn this cycle was the same.rebexness wrote:NP both send waivers.canadianbrother wrote:From what I seen you shouldnt bother with HYSCCNPB but there are possible to solicit.

Re: 2014-2015 Fee Waivers
I got one today. Just replied "Thank you so much!". I don't think it hurts to respond. I don't know that it hurts not to respond though either. If you keep it super short, its easy for them to scan and delete pretty quick. But I actually got an email back saying something like "You're very welcome. I hope to see your app".Lions1913 wrote:When you solicit a waiver, and then get it, do you respond to say thank you? I ask because I'm told to limit communication as much as possible, but responding with a thank you seems to be common courtesy.

My face when I wrote a short distinct and on point thank you for the email, I look forward to sending my app in type reply. (To show legitimate interest. They answer only with an identical form email a couple days later.

I also say thank you - something doesn't feel right if they are waiving a $80-$100 fee.RCSOB657 wrote:My face when I wrote a short distinct and on point thank you for the email, I look forward to sending my app in type reply. I'm going to try to solicit Penn. Will report back.
