Ehh.. Yea, the "forum trick" definitely does not work. The only thing I have received is Duke PT.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Don't want to be all spammy~d34dluk3 wrote:I wouldn't. Shit, now I have to go home and check my mail (which I usually only do when I have new movies from NetFlix). I am going to be very sad if there is no waiver for me.afcanoe wrote:Received a lovely viewbook and fee waiver from Cornell via snail mail today. 171/3.95

What did your letter say? I got the viewbook but no mention of a fee waiver in the letter.afcanoe wrote:Received a lovely viewbook and fee waiver from Cornell via snail mail today. 171/3.95

Definitely doesn't say that, maybe I will follow up with an e-mail in Sept. to ask for a fee waiver. Looks like I probably won't be applying to Cornell now though.afcanoe wrote:"P.S. Didn't get Cornell. Maybe because I'm on the West Coast and it is going to take an extra day or two to get here. Or perhaps Cornell doesn't like meEntchen wrote:Also got Cornell.

Yup. I was hoping my LSAT (and not terrible GPA) would be enough to get a waiver. But so it goes. (I'm still gonna apply, though, because I'm a glutton for punishment).acrossthelake wrote:The problem with politely lying to people today is that you can verify statements with strangers on the interwebs.cubswin wrote:Ha. That's not true.beachbum wrote:Well, just got a response from Duke to my fee waiver request. Apparently they only issue fee waivers through CRS searches, and their next search will be in a few weeks. So hopefully I'll qualify for a waiver in their next search...
Edit: Also got the Iowa e-mail. What a tease.

I'll also just assume that it needs another day to get out West.Knockglock wrote:Didn't get Cornell. Maybe because I'm on the West Coast and it is going to take an extra day or two to get here. Or perhaps Cornell doesn't like meEntchen wrote:Also got Cornell..
