Has anyone been accepted who applied around the first of the year? Or are you guys all (hopefully) early appliers?

Sent in my app in the middle of November. Just got a grade/ personal letter request about a week ago? Anyone in the same boat and heard anything back?

Just went complete today after applying on the 20th. Any takers or when I'll find out? I'm 3.49/174 if that matters. I'm feeling waitlist-ish about myself since I applied so late. Columbia and NYU are my top choices.

with your numbers, I can't imagine you'll get rejected. Or waitlisted, for that matter. Hang onJudicial wrote:Still nothing here in the Boston area. Went complete in early November. Really confused.

Still nothing in England. Telling myself the post could just be slow, but then again I probably would have gotten an email.

Good questio
I was wondering about this too. Did those who get accepted also get an e-mail? If so, before or after you got the letter? Thanks!
International post is definitely slow, takes at least a week longer than domestic mail.
Thanks, Yagrish.sophie316 wrote:Still nothing in England. Telling myself the post could just be slow, but then again I probably would have gotten an email.

Re: Columbia Applicants Waiting Thread
just remember they get a ton of applicants (as many as nyu, more than chicago) - it just takes awhile to physically prepare all those envelopes, i'm sure - i think they probably had a little bit of a pecking order (getting total auto-admits/hamilton/butler offers out of the way first), but i wouldn't worry yet - a current 1L at CLS over on lsd reported being complete last cycle in october/early november and getting her acceptance the day after valentines

If I'm correct, they've already been sending out rejections as well as reserves right? Does anybody know if they've had a "hold" category in the past?

Re: Columbia Applicants Waiting Thread
Got a "hold" letter today... I'm pretty sure they've always had "hold"... it seems to be sort of a limbo category swimming around with accept/reserve/reject saying they'll get to me later and let me know which of those three I actually fall in.
So time to sit around and wait until late March.... (anxiously with fingers crossed).
Anyone else hear lately?

Re: Columbia Applicants Waiting Thread
I was put on hold today, which was expected because of my LSAT. Being in NYC doesn't interest me anyway, so I think I'll just withdraw at this point.

Does a hold warrant a LOCI?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
