yeah most schools will run their crs algorithm again when the scores come out
in addition there isn't much to be gained by submitting now while you're waiting for your score, your file will be put on hold anyway when you have an lsat result pending

Will their algorithms only be set to capture people who took the most recent LSAT? I'm asking because I didn't take the September LSAT, so I dont know if there is any likelihood of receiving a fee waiver from them running their algorithms again.hereisonehand wrote:yeah most schools will run their crs algorithm again when the scores come out

these things seem to work in mysterious ways, don't really know much of anything about what happens in the black boxsmile0751 wrote:Will their algorithms only be set to capture people who took the most recent LSAT? Re: 2014-2015 Fee Waivers
About to push send on apps.
I got waivers for most of the big hitters and my list (Columbia, U Penn, NYU, UVA, U of M, NU, Vandy, UCLA, Duke, Emory, UGA, etc.).
I'm only waiting on University of Chicago and Georgetown (???). DIdn't get HYS but didn't/don't expect to.
I don't have a problem requesting from Georgetown, well within the range there (but a bit annoyed they didn't offer outright).
Should I wait on UChi? I quite like it, it's one of my top contenders, if not THE top contender. Haven't seen anything though, and seen a lot of requests get kicked back with generic "we'll give you one if we give you one" answers. Should I wait through Oct and then submit, or am I better off just biting the bullet?

Submitted my application to Chicago without the waiver
. I wouldn't if I won't be pretty busy next month though.

I personally am waiting through whenever Sep takers get their waivers (mid-Oct?) but I won't be done with apps until Oct 20 anyway. I'm missing Columbia and Chicago (174).nyanyanya wrote:MagillaCutty wrote: Should I wait on UChi? I quite like it, it's one of my top contenders, if not THE top contender. Re: 2014-2015 Fee Waivers
"Should you be selected to receive an application fee waiver, you will receive an email from us and the fee will be waived for you in advance in the LSAC system. " Does this means a "no"? Cornell responded to my solicitation as so, but my numbers are good for them and I've heard from other T14 schools.
Also, has anyone successfully solicited UT and UMN? They replied that they don't give solicited fee waivers.

This. They've sent me four emails in the past two days. But it was really just two emails, each sent twice. I guess they just want to really make sure I'm reading them. Which I'm not.imKMart wrote:hereisonehand wrote:bound wrote:Can penn state back off!?
