2007-2008
Total acceptances: 265
Acceptances from 1/24-2/01: 106
Weeks where there were 5 or more acceptances after the initial round: second week of Feb., third week of Feb., first week of March, and second week of March.
2008-2009
Total acceptances: 105
Acceptances from 1/22-1/27: 69
A few things to note:
-Numbers may not be exact (I was counting quickly)
-There are a number of acceptances from both years where the decision date is not listed. This may be interfering with the data
-We can expect a few more acceptances to be in this batch, as they were spread out over 8 business days last cycle (there have only been 5 business days thus far this cycle)
-There will be a number of acceptances later in the cycle (not sure how many of these will be from getting off the WL)
-Sorry if this has already been done
thank you

thanks a lot for doing that, but are those acceptances beyond this week that are still going to come for people who have been complete since late october/early november? or are those mostly for people who submitted late dec/early january

Congrats, pumpz. When did you go complete? And did your status checker change to 'Decision' prior to your receipt of the letter?

Congrats Pumpkin! Did you receive the fall quarter grades request, and (if so) when?

Hmm. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Since admissions are a zero-sum game (one spot for you means one less spot for me), FAIL!!!!!!!

Congrats to all who have gotten in. Do any of you who are more familiar with the admissions process know how much Columbia relies on the index? I am a 4.5 and I haven't heard yet, and was wondering how often higher index people are rejected?

I wonder if there's just a lot of people in MA that haven't been accepted (yet) or if there is anything to this pattern.
The snow isn't THAT bad, definitely a let down. Supposed to only be a few inches now, not a foot or anything.

Same, but I would say that if they are dated the 26th and only in Manhattan today they won't get much further until tomorrow...plus there is the snow, so who knows.

Was under the impression that Pumpkin got the letter yesterday, since his post is from 9 am today. The mail doesn't usually come until later in the day. So it arrived this morning?

I missed that there was a letter dated the 26th! I suddenly feel much better (though I probably shouldn't)! Of course, I'll take the love any time they want to give it to me.
