Chicago and stanford are always later since their semesters start later, so they have to wait a little longer to finalize the entering class numberscalpolisci2016 wrote:What's taking Stanford, UChicago and Northwestern so long...

Schools don't have to post their 509 disclosures until Dec. 15. Last year, Chicago posted on Sept. 2, and Northwestern on Sept. 22, but Stanford waited until Dec. 7.calpolisci2016 wrote:What's taking Stanford, UChicago and Northwestern so long...

Wow +64 for Northeastern headcount. Not good for the already over-saturated Boston legal market (since NE doesn't have much national reach and most NE students will have to hustle for whatever jobs in Boston left, after Harvard, BU, and BC grads have had their pick).

Although it is interesting that they managed this much growth while increasing both their 25% and 75% LSAT numbers.swordking90 wrote:Wow +64 for Northeastern headcount. Reminder after looking at these numbers: their class of 2015 had a 72% LST score, almost 20% BL+FC, and in-state tuition is less than $20,000.

This link is old, but I can't imagine much has changed. Sounds like there are biglaw offices in West Virginia that WVU grads go to and do doc review / paralegal type tasks, but are technically working in biglaw.thereelfeels wrote:WVU:

more and more common/necessary to clerk 1-2 years after graduating instead of immediately after. Chicago always does well all around in clerkship placement, but it has added a line item for total 2016 clerks (including alumni clerks), and a parenthetical caveat to the flawed ABA figures to explain that the lower percentage only reflects clerks that start in the fall of their graduating year (most federal clerks now start their first or second clerkship the following fall or the year after).trramic wrote:I'm not very clerkship-aware --- what trend is that?jbagelboy wrote:chicago is starting to recognize the growing trends in clerkship placement over the past few years.goldenbear2020 wrote:Chicago:

Re: CLASS OF 2019! MEDIANS (LSAT/GPA/CLASS SIZE)
As an NYUer, I am outraged that my year NYU had a 172 median and it has fallen down to 169 for two years in a row now. Meanwhile, CLS has risen risen from 171 to 172. The notion of NYU=CLS should be over.
HLS falling to a 172 median like CLS should really hit home the notion that CLS = HLS and that the gap is extremely small between the two, if anything.
Also, Columbia's 25th LSAT is 168, not 169, as is currently stated in the Excel file.
I note that UCLA also now has a higher median LSAT (167) than Berkeley (166).
