Brooklyn LSAT Medians:This year Brooklyn Law School, which plans to cut its tuition by 15% in 2015, increased its first-year class by 8.7%. But the median LSAT score dropped three points, to 156, and the median GPA went from 3.40 to 3.31.
"In previous years it's been higher; it's been lower; it moves around," said Brooklyn Law School dean Nicholas Allard.

Especially with those scores. It's one thing to go from, say, a 170 (97th percentile) to 163 (88th percentile), but they're going from the 88th to 67th percentile.hereisonehand wrote:7 point drop in 4 years, brutalMonochromatic Oeuvre wrote:Brooklyn LSAT Medians:This year Brooklyn Law School, which plans to cut its tuition by 15% in 2015, increased its first-year class by 8.7%. I agree that there is no defending a 7 point drop in 4 years. I think I would lose all faith if a T14 with a 170 median started to plummet. We know BLS doesn't care so I think to see a T14 sell out like that would be pretty disheartening. Fortunately we probably won't see that unless top UG flooded in and looked to snag spots in the T14 or T1X within a few years of opening.AT9 wrote:Especially with those scores. Not really. The consensus was that the very top schools would hold except for Georgetown perhaps.should-i-do-it wrote:TLS seems to have really overestimated median/class size drops.
Not really. I think most expected numbers to plateau this year.should-i-do-it wrote:TLS seems to have really overestimated median/class size drops.
It doesn't really mean anything. That was reported a little fantastically when it came out; it hardly affects anyone.TheodoreKGB wrote:How much do you guys think the 10% rule is affecting these numbers?
