That thread is the best argument for retaking. Instead of risking striking out at a T1, you could've been biglaw safe if you had retaken and gone to a better school. And you'd probably have less debt.

Got it. Here's another argument against retaking: In law school, when you take an exam and get a grade you do not like, do you get to ask the professor to "retake" the exam for a higher grade? Of course not. By retaking the LSAT again and again, you are learning bad habits that will serve you poorly in law school.

TLS is not in any way a public institution. It exists to give good advice to prospective and current law students. Your advice is objectively terrible. A BOW ban for giving said advice seems appropriate, if a little premature. I would settle for a month to see if you calm down when you come back.

I'm actually a huge proponent of free campus speech and permitting diversity of intellectual voices at universities, and I have substantial concerns regarding the recent movement toward the political censorship resulting from angsty misinterpretations of progressive thought. But that's neither here nor there.

The rhetorical excrement you've dribbled across multiple pages in this forum do not rise to the level of "difference" or even any manner of discourse at all. It's just inartful trolling at best. We shall not become the enablers of cowardice and stupidity in gratifying your bizarre irredeemable pursuit of spreading financial ruin and career suicide.

I enjoy how we've stumbled from a very uninteresting debate (whether OP's "advice" is wrong... which it clearly is) to a much more interesting debate (whether he should be banned.)

Put me on the side of not banning OP. I think that each time they've posted, they've been significantly refuted by huge portions of TLS'ers... So I don't see the huge risk towards people actually following their advice.
