I just don't see why law students would spend time on a pre-law forum, unless your so god damn bored and/or you get your jollys helping random strangers on a forum. Because even a dedicated pre-law student would know more than me as someone that hasn't been pursuing law. Seems simple enough.

there is a large portion of this chatboard that are dedicated to helping current law students, recent grads, and practicing attorneys. further, the people in the advanced stages of the legal profession and school provide the best advice to the prelaw students, as they have experience. i hope that my explanation of this simple concept helps you to understand why there is a diverse experiential population here at top law schools.flashes23 wrote:I just don't see why law students would spend time on a pre-law forum, unless your so god damn bored and/or you get your jollys helping random strangers on a forum. It's perfectly good advice. But in the same way that people here get annoyed when newbies show up with assumptions about law, it's annoying to the newbies when people here make assumptions about the newbie's current career and assume that someone who wants to change careers simply can't make sense.Jim Jones wrote:dont go to law school if you got hella money and can do whatever you want is pretty 190 advice nony. im not sure i get your point
