301 (up 27).
166 (-1!!)
3.79 (same)
It is but not because of this. Berkeley's LSAT median has been a TTT-esque 167 for a while.krads153 wrote: Man, law school is super easy to get into these days.

That's why throughout the years, Berkeley plummeted from T6 to T10.MikeJD wrote:Berkeley could have easily had a 167 if they wanted, they just pay less attention to it than other schools.
Berkeley could have a 170 if they wanted, but I wouldn't write this off so quickly. They've been at 167 year after year after year. My guess is they intended to keep this year at 167 and just couldn't do it.MikeJD wrote:Berkeley could have easily had a 167 if they wanted, they just pay less attention to it than other schools.

I think they were only ranked 6 once...they're usually lower T10. The 6 was a fluke.eriedoctrine wrote:That's why throughout the years, Berkeley plummeted from T6 to T10.MikeJD wrote:Berkeley could have easily had a 167 if they wanted, they just pay less attention to it than other schools.

I guess it's because I don't recall any T-14 dropping below 167 medians in recent history, not even CornellTiago Splitter wrote:It is but not because of this. Berkeley's LSAT median has been a TTT-esque 167 for a while.krads153 wrote: Man, law school is super easy to get into these days.
Maybe, although Northwestern is probably next. its median was like 170 a few years ago....And not sure about UVA since its gaming of the rankings isn't going to be as effectiveKinky John wrote:Aren't we down to T11? I thought M was out in addition to G and now B
N's 25th was a TTT-ish 162 this past year...krads153 wrote:Northwestern is probably next. its median was like 170 a few years ago....Kinky John wrote:Aren't we down to T11? I thought M was out in addition to G and now B

For the class of 2017, Penn's 25th was 164 and Northwestern's was 162. They also get to operate freely, without a requirement for a certain amount of in state students. You have to cut public school's like Berkeley some slack.krads153 wrote:I guess it's because I don't recall any T-14 dropping below 167 medians in recent history, not even CornellTiago Splitter wrote:It is but not because of this. That may be why it seems like a bigger deal to me. Plus their 25th is atrocious, but it might have always been 163ish
haha, wow...The 25ths of many T-14s used to be like 167, only a few years ago. At this rate, the only schools with reasonable numbers are going to be HYS....shameful.Kinky John wrote:N's 25th was a TTT-ish 162 this past year...krads153 wrote:Northwestern is probably next. its median was like 170 a few years ago....Kinky John wrote:Aren't we down to T11? Well both V and M had higher medians and 25ths than B, are you calling Californians stupid? Bc obviously LSAT correlates to intelligenceRon Howard wrote:For the class of 2017, Penn's 25th was 164 and Northwestern's was 162. Except it's not going to continue at this rate.krads153 wrote:haha, wow...The 25ths of many T-14s used to be like 167, only a few years ago. Almost all of the T14s game the rankings. Just look and Penn and NU's 25th% LSATS.krads153 wrote:Maybe, although Northwestern is probably next. its median was like 170 a few years ago....And not sure about UVA since its gaming of the rankings isn't going to be as effectiveKinky John wrote:Aren't we down to T11? But seriously, law school is sooooooo easy to get into these days, compared to even 5 years ago
I may be wrong, but I assume the reason why N was so low on the 25th was because of their preference for people w/ WE that may have lower scores. And, personally, I think Gtown's drop is likely due to their class size.krads153 wrote:haha, wow...The 25ths of many T-14s used to be like 167, only a few years ago. M was T3 at one pointrnoodles22 wrote:I feel for Michigan, though. I don't know how true this is, but I heard they were once T6 or flirting with it.
UVA seemed to be by far the worst though with the only accepting ED apps thing they had going for a number of years and literally YP everyone else. They ended up with really bad 25ths, but decent medians. I doubt they can keep doing that to maintain medians anymore though, given how nobody in their right mind would ED anywhere anymore.Ron Howard wrote:Almost all of the T14s game the rankings.
