TTT in decline sounds wrong. More like TTT reaching it's inevitable equilibrium.

Surprised it was that high but looks like it might be just small class size noise. Didn't realize they were already in the mid 30s last year.

Yeah, really only an increase of a few people placed. Looks pretty though.BigZuck wrote:Surprised it was that high but looks like it might be just small class size noise. Didn't realize they were already in the mid 30s last year.
They upped the long term, bar-passage required school funded spots by a ton though...don't know what that's about.

Re: Latest employment data
OP should update the OP as numbers come in or someone should start a thread to keep track of things.

If you count the state clerkships as well, ND is around 42%. Not bad.

Yeah but then you're counting state clerkships so nah. Some of those are last resort I couldn't find anything better so here I am state intermediate court of appeals jobs.Moneytrees wrote:If you count the state clerkships as well, ND is around 42%. Not bad.

Re: Latest employment data
OK but state court clerkships are less desirable than most other FTLTJDR jobs. Maybe not SSC clerkships under the right circumstances, but there's a reason we don't include these in the big money score.Moneytrees wrote:If you count the state clerkships as well, ND is around 42%. Not bad.

If you count baristas it ups Notre Dame's numbers to 75%. Not bad at all.

Thanks for updating, Moneytrees! One minor suggestion: edit the OP to add the criteria. BL = firms with 100+ attorneys, right?Moneytrees wrote:Yeah that's true. Original post updated with employment data that we have so far.

You're awesome, moneytrees. Now all we need is Mike Spivey posting leaked ABA information for schools.

ND reported a short-term employed federal clerk. Dunno if I've seen that before.

Aren't a lot of them like 11ish months, which under the ABA standards supposed to be short term.pamphleteer wrote:ND reported a short-term employed federal clerk. Dunno if I've seen that before.

Re: Latest employment data
I thought they were all technically a year (or at least reported as such for ABA purposes, the description of "short term" specifically excludes clerkships) but I could be wrong.Desert Fox wrote:Aren't a lot of them like 11ish months, which under the ABA standards supposed to be short term.pamphleteer wrote:ND reported a short-term employed federal clerk. Re: Latest employment data
Maybe too early to tell. Has anyone noticed if employment stats have varied since employment stats are now supposedly only to reflect JD required jobs?
