but they're not considered as preftigious, so dumbasses aren't stumbling over themselves trying to pay sticker
and they'd generally offer more money for identical numbers

Regarding class sizes, GW at 600+ I can understand, but how can you even compare USC and WUSTL's 200-300 class size to GULC's 640+.. I don't even...

i brought up t14 only bc that stupid term causes people to believe gulc should be lumped in with top schools

Why does it hurt your butt so much? People make fun of my school. Whatever, it's not a big deal.

The school is overpriced, stingy, preys on people obsessed with "prestige" and the thought of law school in DC, has weird admissions/financial aid tactics, has weaker job placement than its peers, and a legion of butthurt fanboys and "prestige" obsessed 0L's sitting here and defending it to no end despite all of its failings.

That's why people make fun of it.

Also, I heard the Dean of the law school tell a potential matriculant that over 50% of the class of 2012 got big law. He also told a group of big firm lawyer alumni (at the same event) that they could not cut the class size because of the cost to run the school, they have the least main campus support of all the T14 blah, blah and they needed more alumni donations. They don't strike me as a place that particularly gives a shit about how their students do in the job market (but yeah, I know, lol@ thinking any school does I guess). It's a big diploma mill.

I don't think it's never worth attending but it almost never is. I can only think of one, maybe two, TLSers in the past few years where GULC made the most logical sense for them to attend when they posed it as an option in their choosing thread.

Anyway, I think the butthurt fandom/white knighting of GULC is much more strange than people continually making fun of the school.

It's the attitude. I make one post with a mild critique of the data and get 5 people piling on incensed that I dare say anything remotely positive.
