I'm curious if all numbers are locked in once class/orientation officially starts. If not, theoretically a school could lose a tenuously-held median (say, removing one or two people changes it) by WL movement at other schools that start much later.

Anyone (Spivey) have any knowledge on this?

(I mainly ask to hold onto hope that I'm not 0/3 already in the "guess the medians" contest)

Yes, it's not orientation that counts, it is a specific date. Last year that date was October 5th, and will likely be something very similar this year. So if you lose 3-5 or however many people before the date, your medians can easily change.

Wake Forest class size is unchanged from last year at 179. This is directly from orientation, but didn't get medians.

I guess they were able to get enough people to defer until next fall.

This is what I thought. Follow up: does anyone know of any T50-ish schools whose orientation medians ended up moving last year?

Also, for 2016 why does Berkeley's 25th LSAT say 166 when the ABA report says 163? Is that a mistake?

I know, right? At this point i'll settle for a TTTT median.

At least then I can read way too much into it and make wild assumptions based on it.
