I just don't get why 0Ls get so obsessed over this "sub-tier" BS. There is literally not a single hiring partner in the world who would know what the hell "CCN" or "MVPB" means.

Big big difference between knowing generally how the schools rank, and how these silly sub tiers are grouped. Someone who looks at the list on occasion would simply see a numerical list.

It's not that we don't care about rankings (although many legitimately don't), it is that this is comically early for a thread on this. Particularly considering that the 2015 thread was only started like a month ago, by the poster that you hilariously scolded for no reason.

1. He called my thread stupid and I took it personally. Not the most scholarly of threads, yeah, but I think people will have opinions about it and generally enjoy it.

2. I'm particularly interested on predictions in light of the new rankings.

Done. I've reported three posters. And since no one else has done so, I want to say thanks. Whether the mindless sheep of TLS want to acknowledge it or not, prestige matters in our chosen profession. And the USNWR rankings are the engine of prestige. If you're one of those saying that you don't care about the 2016 USNWR rankings, then you're essentially saying that you don't care about your own future. Good luck with that.

Now back to the good part: I think this is a dangerous time for SLS. We watched it drop from #2 to #3. Meanwhile, CLS and Chi are in a dogfight for #4, and I can tell that the competition is lifting both schools to greater heights. The era of "HYS" is about to come to a dramatic end.
