Dude fucking up between the ages of 14-22 is the credited age to fuck up.
I fucked up when i was 15 (1.7 gpa is middle school) and that helped me grow and beat the shit out of all the super study nerds in HS)
What if you fuck up during all of the years listed in the age bracket. Do multiple fuck ups of varying degrees in the same year count for extra growth points? By these standards i should've graduated from YLS.
lol, u got in to YLS?

I'm not saying fuck up as in phone it in and be a super shitty student. I'm talking about staying up until 4am slamming a handle of captain Morgan's and go to class sweating booze at 9am. 20-25 is when you get your fill of the partying. You can't do that shit during middle school or even HS really. Like it or not, fucking up/around in your early 20s is crucial to your formation as an adult. People on this forum always talk about networking, I'm pretty sure most of networking is smashing brews, shooting the shit, telling jokes/stories. Good luck trying to be good at any of that if you're a dude who was in law school 18-21.

Vanderbilt has not updated its website yet. How credible is the leak?

Announcing to certain people before posting on website != leak. Just means the website isn't updated yet. So, pretty credible

Right, but someone had to relay the information that was supposedly said at orientation. Perhaps I should rephrase: how credible is the source?

Anyone know where the NYU numbers on the google doc came from?

The person who reported it is as legit as they come (either North or Lavitz, forget which) but yeah, if you're concerned about the telephone effect you could probably ask in one of the Vandy threads. I'm sure someone there would know

Never underestimate how much people don't want to live in Charlottesville, Ann Arbor, and Ithaca. GTown always has better student quality than it's rank suggests.

No, it's just that a two point drop for a small T20 school is stunning. This cycle could be epic.

Nothing about law school medians is epic.

Not really. Vandy was stingy with scholarhsips and was competing a lot with two T14s in its region who are notoriously generous. UVA and Duke won, Vandy lost. Wouldn't impute multi point median drops to other schools on that basis

I can't remember but it is 440 students and 172 for the 75%. They didn't give us the median at orientation

USC and a couple of others had orientation. Any stats?

I can confirm our median and I'm honestly not surprised. I think they saw medians dropped and protected the best they could. Now we have the same median as the other T20s
