Gtown and Seton Hall today. Anyone have any idea when Georgetown's app opens? I'd love to get started on the supplemental essays (assuming they have them?).

Im right under 170 and have not received. Looks like I'll have to solicit. I was going to send out solicitations to all schools i haven't heard from in early August. What do you folks think?lastsamurai wrote:17X, June, yes for met14splitter wrote:What LSAT scores did Georgetown recipients get? when did you take the LSAT? are your transcripts already in?

I took the February and June tests - my highest score so far is a 167. My transcripts aren't in yet but my GPA range and estimated class rank are both on LSAC.t14splitter wrote:What LSAT scores did Georgetown recipients get? when did you take the LSAT? are your transcripts already in?

Why do they like you more than me? Do you have a great set of bobos or other soft factor being taken into account?fkt18 wrote:I took the February and June tests - my highest score so far is a 167. High GPA cut for G'Town, maybe? My transcript isn't in, but I chose 3.50-3.74 as the range on my CRS.

Didn't get Gtown. 174 - 3.50 to 3.74
I think I got Charlotte, Phoenix, Liberty, and Colorado today.
Finally reaping the benefits of that 3.5-3.74 lol.

Phoenix law and Charollette law both tried pulling the bogus...oh we forget something in our last email, trying to act like it was personalized 5 minutes later. Good try.
Did get Georgetown waiver w/ 17X+3.9X

Last year, Georgetown's app opened on Sept. 15th and we could submit it on the 17th. It was actually one of the later apps, but you can find the optional essay questions on this page if you want to get started early. I think they usually stay the same each year, but I can't guarantee it.californiauser wrote:Gtown and Seton Hall today. Anyone have any idea when Georgetown's app opens? I'd say it's worth a shot - could end up saving yourself some serious money. Not sure when schools will finish sending them out thoughdeputydog wrote:Im right under 170 and have not received. Anyone have a template for few waiver solicitation emails? Also would it be absurd to solicit hysccnp if my numbers are competitive?

CLS, NYU, and Penn will send you waivers. HYS don't do merit waivers.

It could be GPA? I'm in the 3.75 and up range. Other than that I have no clue - I didn't think my scores on file were high enough for a GULC fee waiver, actually.deputydog wrote:Why do they like you more than me? Thanks, I am planning on waiting until mid August before I actually send any solicitations.KingFish wrote:Be patient.t-14orbust wrote:Anyone have a template for few waiver solicitation emails? Also would it be absurd to solicit hysccnp if my numbers are competitive?

I was joshing you. It seems to be pretty random. When do you think you are going to solicit from them?fkt18 wrote:It could be GPA? I'm in the 3.75 and up range.
