Ha-ha. Smoke up, you deserve it! While I'm sure you continually had your ass beat from junior high to high school, you can claim this victory! Again, I am a beaten man.... not sure how I will survive this! You are a bad ass!

Aww, now this is just getting painful to watch. OP. If you're really beaten, then call it a night and stop posting these unconvincing passive-aggressive responses.

These people switch jobs between schools sometimes, you know. Even though it's not likely to affect you in the future, don't burn any bridges. And these administrators talk between schools, so you never know.

Calicocat is not fat, and I agree we definitely should. I've discussed this with her at length though, she's not on board. Any advice?Me-a Culpa wrote:Yea, I know... horrible... What shall I do?

Very perceptive. Would not have caught that.aznflyingpanda wrote:My nerd-sense is telling me that the display on that picture is 'shopped.D. H2Oman wrote: --ImageRemoved--
To the OP: when I first saw how unrelentingly mean-spirited many TLSers can be, I asked my (lawyer) brother about what it meant about the personality of law students. He responded, "the only thing worse than people at law school are people who really want to go to law school." Nonetheless, many of these posts are very funny from where we're sitting.
You should write that letter as a cathartic exercise, then rip it up as a non-douchebag exercise.

Re: Responding to a rejection with harsh words
I am going to air everyone's dirty laundry, and then lock this thread:
OP: You reported H20 Man's posting of your PMed insult to him. Let me be unambiguous: You are an idiot. Don't PM someone with insults and then whine to the mods when they make it public. There is no implied pinky-swear of secrecy clause with respect to TLS private messages. So let this serve as a warning to anyone who might send private messages they'll later regret: NOBODY IS UNDER ANY OBLIGATION TO KEEP YOUR PMS SECRET. THE MODS DO NOT, GENERALLY, CARE..
H2O Man: I happen to fully concur with your assessment of the OP, specifically the part where you said he was a douche. Or at least I concur inasmuch as that's how he's behaved with this thread, beginning with his ill-tempered and childish ranting, and ending with what has to be the most egregious misuse of the report button I've ever seen. That said: This is not the first time we've been called to step in because you got too pissy with other posters. Keep your e-penis in your trousers, or you'll get banned, not for any specific thing, but just because the moderators are going to get sick of having to hear about you. (That might seem unfair, but because this isn't a democracy, it happens - see generally, Maharaj, Ihateattorneys, et al).
Thanks for listening. Now go in peace, my sons.
