If I recall correctly, there was either a letter with the view book that had the waiver or there was a letter in the viewbook itself that discussed a waiver. Can't hurt to read through and see if its there.

oh shush. Just thought I'd let people know that updates will no longer happen unless they say something. I'll still check this thread daily, but I won't make updates on my own like I have been. The Early Decision contract and C&F threads I made are essentially dead now unless people help out.

It seems CRS-unregistration takes a while to process: just got a waiver from U of Iowa.

It seems CRS-unregistration takes a while to process: just got a waiver from U of Iowa.

Was ED-ing to UVA part of any strategy for chaining T14 ED's or was UVA far and away your number one choice? What was your next step to be if you were waitlisted or dropped to regular decision?

UVA was my number one choice. If I had been waitlisted or dropped to regular decision (which they don't do at UVA, its either waitlist or reject), I would have made a decision at that time about where to apply (but it probably would have been 15 or so schools). I'm glad I got into my first choice and only had to pay $21 for applications

I got an unsolicited waiver from Iowa as well via email. I was surprised. I don't even have an LSAT score yet (registered for Oct)!

GPA-based? location based? I didn't get one... I only have LSAT on record atm.

Edited: I just got around to reading the attached documet (

) in which they say the requirements are a 162+ LSAT or a 3.8+ GPA. My GPA fits the bill, so I'm sure that's why I got the email.

Are GPA-only unsolicited waivers normal for a T1 school or could this be more indication of an epic cycle?

Sorry if covered already, but does anyone have experience reapplying and not having fee waivers carry over to the new term? I've noticed I have no hidden waivers, so I've been soliciting with mixed results. My phone hasn't been getting blown up either, which is nice, but I'd rather have the waivers. I've asked LSAC to opt me in, hopefully that will work.

Sorry no merit but we do offer need base Fee Waivers.

I'm not sure what to make of this poorly written, one-line response, but it seems like possibly fordham is not offering merit-based waivers this cycle as indicated in the spreadsheet.

Has anyone successfully solicited one?
