Someone from Northern CA heard this weekend.iagolives wrote:Anyone on the west coast hear anything yet?
I wouldn't worry too much now that I see all these super high number people not hearing back yet.

Yup, seeing all these people makes me not nearly worry as much. I did not get a fall grade request, but I sent my updated transcript anyways like a week ago...

Maybe they know just how much the mail in Austin sucks.silver11 wrote:Not really sure. Just got a call from my mom and she said I got something from Columbia and it was the Admitted Students Handbook and a letter.KP429 wrote:Wait, why would they do that? By accident?silver11 wrote:In! Edit: Congratulations, silver11! That's wonderful news.

Has anyone gotten in WITHOUT a request for fall grades?

I was accepted ED, I live on the west coast, and I haven't received the binder/admitted students materials (a few other EDers have). I'm started to wonder if I just imagined my acceptanceiagolives wrote:Anyone on the west coast hear anything yet?

No love for me today from Columbia. All I got in the mail was some lousy note about being pre-approved for a credit card. I'm in BFE Southwest Virginia.

Wow... maybe a nice bouquet would do the trick for the next week or so, and then you can go on being angry with them...amyLAchemist wrote:Dammit. I am not currently speaking to the residents of my current address. According to the female resident, she is never talking to me again. She's going to throw it away if it goes there, for sure. Re: Columbia Applicants Waiting Thread
I don't think they're systematically sending them to permanent addresses.
Someone else said it was going to the current address, and I think that is where most of them go.
Not sure what happened in Silver's case...

Amy, I think you should consider doing mail forwarding.
I think that would take care of any mail that would arrive at your permanent address for the next 3 months.
That way, if you were admitted to CLS this round, the admitted students binder would go to your current address.

Anyone know how soon we should expect the binder?

If you're assuming a WL or rejection, then I don't even know why I'm still reading this thread.Objection wrote:Nothing in NJ. Assuming this means WL or rejection.

Objection, I highly highly doubt you were rejected.
There are still folks with 176+/3.8+ who haven't heard back. I think they are deciding scholarships for those people. You may be one of them.
You may also have a terrible mail system.

Hamiltons and such have already gone out though...and not all of them were "auto-Hamiltons" either.huckabees wrote:Objection, I highly highly doubt you were rejected.

I hope you're right though!
I'm just a pessimist by nature...virtually all of CLS' acceptances last cycle were done in the same week.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
