It specifically tells you that you received a fee waiver/the application fee is waived. It's no mystery.CaliforniaGurl wrote:can someone who got the fee waiver please clarify for the rest of us what the fee waiver wording was like on the letter? thanks.

Anyone else get an SLU fee waiver and an application to apply to the 1843 Scholars Program?

Just got an email fee waiver from Saint Louis University and an invite to the scholarship program. I am glad my CRS is still working from time to time!

Re: 2011-12 Cycle Fee Waiver Tracking
Anyone have an info/tips on asking for fee waivers for things other then just the typical merit based ones? I am talking about Peace Corps, AmeriCorps, Military (active or alum for all of these groups).
I read some info forever ago about a girl who was an AmeriCorps Alum and was still able to receive fee waivers, just trying to decide how to appraoch the schools and when.

I'm on west coast. 169 (december 2010), 3.9+ gpa. Non-URM if that matters.
Yesterday I got the Michigan view book + letter describing fee waiver + letter from Dean Z (w/ personal note)
This is the first I've seen from the T14... so now I have a little hope that they can find me in CRS!

You can still apply. A fee waiver is not an indication of your chances of admission. You can request a fee waiver later in the process (mid-September or so etc). Don't let the second-hand neurosis get to you.veritas curat wrote:3.9 16X, 170

Moreover, the fee-waivers come in waves.
In a nutshell, relax.

I understand that, but it would save me $80 which would be a blessingBlessedassurance wrote:You can still apply. A fee waiver is not an indication of your chances of admission. Even if they don't give you one, you can get one if you pester them enough. Sometimes they even give them to people so they can reject them.freestallion wrote:I understand that, but it would save me $80 which would be a blessingBlessedassurance wrote:You can still apply. No Cornell or Michigan waiver here. Got Duke.
Will solicit Michigan if I don't get a Mich waiver by mid-October.

Re: 2011-12 Cycle Fee Waiver Tracking
I solicited one from Cornell as a Feb. test taker. They told me if I'm registered for CRS, I will receive one in the mail if I am selected to receive one. I understand that to mean Feb 2011ers are included in their CRS searches.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
