Bump.
Anyone else get an email today?
I'm thrilled and nervous about the call. I really wasn't expecting good news from the big H.

Congrats. Try to relax. It's not bad -- just be sure you can talk about what you're up to and why law school.funkyduck wrote:Bump.

My advice: don't overprepare, but make sure you've got talking points down on those. I was waaaay more nervous on the call than I expected to be, but I had things down well enough that I could squeeze out something coherent.
I didn't think mine went terribly well but I got in, and I've heard from a bunch of others who felt the same.
Good luck with it all.

Congrats! As I've said many times before on this thread, I'm quite envious. Best of luck, and relax, you've gotten this far, things are looking good. Numbers and complete date (if you feel comfortable sharing) ?

Just sent a PM. I'm happy to pass along my information for anyone else who is interested, but I'd prefer not to post it for the world to see (where the world is defined as those who will view this thread).themillsman22 wrote:Congrats! Why no love for your waddling web-footed friends?
From what I hear, HLS is full of ducks. They consider feathers and experience fishing with one's beak to be excellent soft (feathery-soft?) factors.

Did you know most ducks lose their feathers twice a year? That is going to make class awkward.funkyduck wrote:Why no love for your waddling web-footed friends?

Thanks for the support, guys! I still think there's a good chance I'll be one of the few interviewees not to be accepted, but I'm allowing myself a tiny bit of hope ...
Also fwiw, I was never deferred nor put on hold, and I went complete over two months ago.

Re: Toby Stock call
Just so everyone is aware, Toby does not look how you would expect him to look after the call. First, he is a very tall man. Think 6'5. He is also rather young looking. I just figured someone with such a legendary status would be older. He also looks jovial. I am not calling him fat, for the record, he just looks happy.

Re: Toby Stock call
My TS1 came yesterday. It lasted just over 5 minutes. I was much more nervous than I expected I'd be, and I wasn't invited to ask questions. Hopefully I didn't say too many stupid/offensive things.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
