Most Cooley students have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Yet, under court rules adopted by the Michigan Supreme Court, an applicant may also attend if the student has completed at least 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours either toward an undergraduate degree from an accredited school or from an accredited junior or community college.
At Cooley, to be admitted without a bachelor’s degree, but with 60 semester hours, Cooley will need a statement from a four-year institution confirming that you have completed 60 semester hours applicable toward the bachelor’s degree or proof of completion of an associate’s degree with 60 hours applicable towards a bachelor's degree. The Committee will determine whether you have the maturity level sufficient for the study of law and for beginning law practice.
This has to be troll? For a second there I almost believed it.

Dear [untar],
I did not receive your LSAC application by last night's deadline. However, I would still like to consider you for admission to Creighton University School of Law, so I am going to extend your application deadline to midnight tonight.
Take advantage of this extra time and apply now. You will still benefit from a waived application fee and a prompt admission decision (within one week after we receive your completed application). You will also still be automatically considered for scholarships ranging from $2,000 to full tuition, books and fees.
[untar], you have only a few hours left, so please apply now. I look forward to hearing from you.

That's fantastic. I'd be willing to wager that not a single person under the age of 50 was involved in the planning or execution of that ad, because olds are the only ones who still use text speak / believe that us young hip people use text speak.

High schoolers still do, but one would think the kind of
adults who persist in it are not the kind of people adcoms would be trying to target

That or they really are going for the kind of easy money that oozes out of people who would fall for such an advertising ploy.

They should advertise as "The University of
Richmond in Virginia."

August 10th huh? Do you think they'll extend the deadline to November? Or maybe just offer me a JD in 2016? I think they need to look up the word "deadline" in the dictionary.

Damn, beat me to it.
I'm so glad they did this. I was really worried that I had missed out on this great opportunity. Do you think they offer Winter starts? I heard Cooley does that.

Wow. Seeing how that's a Saturday, I'd guess you might not get a decision until the following Friday, which is the 16th, meaning you'd miss orientation and would have just the weekend to move there and be ready for class on Monday.
