Sorry guys, apparently law schoolin' is a bit of a time suck.

I did stumble upon this, which claims to have the medians for all the Indiana schools, but some of the claims are a bit eyebrow raising (UI-McKinney jumping up four median LSAT points with a bigger class) so I thought best to not add the data to the spreadsheet without confirmation...

Can whoever has spreadsheet access format the 2018 medians to be centered before I have an anxiety attack?

These stats are almost identical to Berkeley's. Wow.

They've always been rather close. Berkeley could raise it's numbers if it wanted to.

What actual evidence do you have of this statement? Aside from simply admitting more kids than they have jobs available for, how could they raise their numbers?

This statement has been made on TLS by others, so I'm just curious

Look at LSN. There is a lot more red for applicants above one/both medians compared to peer schools or UCLA.

I don't think that data automatically leads to the conclusion you made

The data supports the conclusion that has been drawn based on years of discussion of Berkeley actually looking for more than just numbers, like SLS.

Back when GULC ran a 170 LSAT median Berk was at 167. Berk rejects tons of people with strong numbers. They don't even waitlist em.

Yeah Berk could definitely raise its medians but they place an emphasis on diverse and well-rounded applicants

Michigan is on track to graduate roughly 280-285 people in 2018, which is down roughly 30% from their traditional class size (They only took 19 transfers and had five people transfer out in the last cycle, plus there are usually a handful of people who drop out, hence the estimate).

It's a good move for their students, and one that going to be costing the school around $12 million per year in forgone tuition revenue.

+1.

Just because they are rejecting people above their medians doesn't mean that those people would necessarily go to Berkley if accepted.....
I think the burden of proof is on your side but I'll also add that Berkeley tends not to drop very low on the GPA side. If you want a higher LSAT median you can always find more splitters.

They often come out during orientation but a lot of schools don't publish them until much later. I think October 15 was the deadline last year but I might be making that up.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
