I also don't check the status checker anymore haha!
Do you guys think not being put on the reserve list at this point is good news or bad news?

Re: Deferred at Cornell (2012 EA Applicants)
Ehm, I don't think we have enough information to tell. The further we progress onwards, the more you can assume that its probably bad news. But looking at some historical data, I think we're still in the time frame of February/Early March where an outright acceptance is still quite possible. That being said...lp72 wrote:Joining the deferral party!

random question: is it worth it to take the upcoming june lsat in case we are waitlisted? would it still qualify for getting off the waitlist, or would they make us wait for the next cycle?

Re: Deferred at Cornell (2012 EA Applicants)
People have certainly gotten in places off of a June score in the past. However, I wouldn't bank on it. I think if you're shooting for a June retake, and you do better, it would be a far better choice to wait around until the next cycle if possible. I wouldn't take the June LSAT solely in the hopes of getting off of a waitlist, in other words.cornelius10 wrote:random question: is it worth it to take the upcoming june lsat in case we are waitlisted? would it still qualify for getting off the waitlist, or would they make us wait for the next cycle?

Re: Deferred at Cornell (2012 EA Applicants)
Exactly. Unless you went from like a 165-166 and it got you off the WL at a t-14, then, hell yeah go for it. But if you entered the 170's or something, no. Wait for the next cycle.Nonconsecutive wrote:People have certainly gotten in places off of a June score in the past. However, I wouldn't bank on it. Right there with you! Maybe the two worst numbers to have this cycle. So close on both, yet so far.dproduct wrote:snapdragon25 wrote:IIRC he's 166/3.6-ish?Crowing wrote:Did you ever post your numbers?dproduct wrote:Hi friends. I hope some of us get pulled in the next week! <3Yeah

Cornell website says a decision in February or March... so hopefully soondproduct wrote:Maybe some deferred action this week?

http://www.lawschool.cornell.edu/admiss ... JUMP_34112IF I AM ON RESERVE, WHEN WILL I RECEIVE A DECISION?
Applicants who are placed on Early Action Reserve are reviewed after February 1 and typically, although not always, receive a decision (admit, deny or reserve) in February or March.

I'm guessing because some people have taken 6+ weeks to go complete
