Ok that makes me feel better. I have a 4.5 index I think, so I was worried/confused about no grade request. Glad I am not the only one.

I hate to complain AGAIN, but can we move this discussion elsewhere? I am going nuts waiting for the mail, and only want to know if more people are accepted.atlrochester wrote:no request, 4.2

This is actually the right place for this discussion. The "accepted to Columbia" threads will be in the Law School Acceptances, Denials, and Waitlists section. Since this is a "Waiting Thread," this is completely on-topic.Lem37 wrote:I hate to complain AGAIN, but can we move this discussion elsewhere? I'm 4.3 so CLS is a reasonable possibility but I'm not counting on it.
Yes, LSN now show auto-admits but I bet it's like last year and it is just one big acceptance batch. The small sample probably just shows auto-admits as a coincidence.
And congrats mallard on the scholly. Although, I admit a certain amount of jealousy induced antipathy towards you because you seem to get all the acceptance that I want.

Is anybody in on LSN without scholly? Everyone I've seen on here or talked to who's in so far has Butler or Hamilton.

So it seems like a reasonable assumption that they've only burnt through the scholarship pile so far.
Good luck all!

dammit, why must mail be so slow, or even used at all! I am going to obsess until I can go home and check my mailbox, and then when I have nothing (because I'm in DC), I am going to obsess some more. It sounds like a very unhealthy weekend.

A little birdie tells me on PM that they have received an acceptance without scholly. So that theory is wrong.

Re: Columbia Applicants Waiting Thread
If you look on LSN, Columbia accepted people with and without scholarships all at the same time last year, starting around 1/24. It looks like that batch took up to a week and a half to reach people. Rejections/Waitlists started going out Feb. 1, so take that as you will. Does anyone know what kinds of envelopes rejections/waitlists come in?

Why do people care about the envelopes so much? It is weird.

Re: Columbia Applicants Waiting Thread
Eh, I got into a habit of wanting to know about the envelopes after my roommate called me at work in October to tell me I had gotten a tiny envelope from Georgetown. I searched these forums and found out that it likely was an acceptance, so I had some peace of mind all day.

if something was sent to me, it didn't reach upstate ny (not very upstate). though with a 4.2 its probably just as likely nothing was sent
