Any info on their 25/75?
That's all I know from a chat with their new Dean. Sorry!

Florida

LSAT 157. GPA 3.5. Class Size 312.

Is this the lowest LSAT median ever for a Top 50 school?

Wow! I remember them having a 161 median when I was applying in 2011. I know apps are down and medians are too, but that's a pretty big fall off in such a short period.

Well, for one the LSAT used to be scored on a scale of 1-40. So no :) And I doubt it is in the 120-180 era either, but I'm not betting on that. I suspect you will see rapid improvement their new dean is exceptionally driven and talented.

But what can the dean do other than cutting enrollment to maintain medians or throw a ton of cash at people to attract higher numbers? UF has been pretty stingy with scholarship money.

Meaning you suspect next years admissions cycle will focus on higher LSAT scores? How does the Dean do that exactly?

The Illinois and Villanova deans found a way to do that a while back.

The state of Florida really doesn't care about their higher education.

NYU's 75th/25th are 171/166, and class size is down to 430. Can't remember the gpa numbers, and they didn't tell us medians.

170 median could be in jeopardy?

Is there a reason columns Q:X don't have the correct formulas to generate those stats? (The reference columns in the formulas are off)

Apologies, I am a professional excel wrangler.

So far, it seems that theres going to be less students enrolled this year. Which is good for the overall legal industry.
