Another thing to keep in mind is that some of this will depend on the current composition of the pool when they review your application. It may be that at that time they are in need of high LSAT as opposed to a strong GPA, or vice versa.

not sure if this is how it works, but couldn't it just be that more people than expected accepted their offers?Hikikomorist wrote:They should be ashamed.proteinshake wrote:267 to 305 class size, quite a jump!Tiddlywinks wrote:Michigan Law - GPA 3.57 - 3.78 - 3.88

Yeah I think that's what may have happened. The same thing happened to USC this year so they offered some people $5000 to defer their enrollment until next yearproteinshake wrote:not sure if this is how it works, but couldn't it just be that more people than expected accepted their offers?Hikikomorist wrote:They should be ashamed.proteinshake wrote:267 to 305 class size, quite a jump!Tiddlywinks wrote:Michigan Law - GPA 3.57 - 3.78 - 3.88

Nah last year was just a fluke, low high scores so they just shrunk more then they wanted. I'm pretty sure they're aiming to keep size around 300-320. 305 is still the second lowest they've had for a very long time.USayinBoalt wrote:Yeah I think that's what may have happened. isn't that good news for applicants though? or maybe not since that might bring down employment numbers?Tiddlywinks wrote:Nah last year was just a fluke, low high scores so they just shrunk more then they wanted. Eh if you hit their numbers it's all the same admission wise lol. ~300ish is good for employment tho so yes, the numbers we have for employment now are reflective of a 350ish class so time will tell.proteinshake wrote:isn't that good news for applicants though? or maybe not since that might bring down employment numbers?Tiddlywinks wrote:Nah last year was just a fluke, low high scores so they just shrunk more then they wanted. Any idea on the medians for BU? That is one of my stretch schools (could be target if my Sept LSAT improves by a few points...) for this cycle. Thanks!monceau wrote:according to our orientation, Boston U.'s class size this year is 257, which is up 21 people from last year

Re: CLASS OF 2019! MEDIANS (LSAT/GPA/CLASS SIZE)
USC posted its full class of 2019 stats today: http://weblaw.usc.edu/about/class-profile/
162/165/166
3.56/3.76/3.85
The median and 75th percentile LSAT fell one point. Surprised to see both are two points below UCLA. Their median GPA stayed the same as last year.

Re: CLASS OF 2019! MEDIANS (LSAT/GPA/CLASS SIZE)
They admitted way too many 165s and got too many of them to enroll which is why they have 30-40 people bigger class and are down a point. Someone in the admission department to be fired. They were actually paying 165s NOT to enroll and defer for next year but not enough accepted.elle__woods wrote:USC posted its full class of 2019 stats today: http://weblaw.usc.edu/about/class-profile/

5k to defer seems like kind of a shitty offer.MikeJD wrote:They admitted way too many 165s and got too many of them to enroll which is why they have 30-40 people bigger class and are down a point. I can honestly say that Berkeley is the one school in the t-14 that I would have zero interest in attending.USayinBoalt wrote:Anxiously waiting for Berks numbers to drop (it's a black box but still wanna know the numbers)

I'd go to Berk, but I'd nervous about expressing my political opinions.....probably would become an SJW just to fit in lolvcap180 wrote:I can honestly say that Berkeley is the one school in the t-14 that I would have zero interest in attending.USayinBoalt wrote:Anxiously waiting for Berks numbers to drop (it's a black box but still wanna know the numbers)
