Re: 2015-2016 Fee Waivers
Both UCLA and University of Washington were really easy to solicit waivers. I received replies within the hour! I tried to solicit from Fordham but apparently they're only doing need based via snail-mail application.

Re: 2015-2016 Fee Waivers
Have you asked? I got most of mine from asking and I gave them my LSAC #, GPA, and LSAT. Whether or not they checked my LSAC calculated GPA is beyond me, but they were almost identical.seagan823 wrote:Sorry if this has already been addressed but are most fee waivers dependent on your transcript being accepted and an official LSAC GPA calculated? I have received fee waivers from Penn, Duke and Michigan from my lsat score alone but I'm not feeling the love from some other schools. Hoping that will change once my transcript is processed.

Re: 2015-2016 Fee Waivers
I'm in the same place and received several unsolicited T14 waivers for my LSAT score, but UVA is the only good school from which I've successfully solicited a waiver. It seems like the rest don't do merit waivers or make you wait for them to find you in a CRS search, and I think I got left out of the last round because I didn't have a GPA on file.seagan823 wrote:Sorry if this has already been addressed but are most fee waivers dependent on your transcript being accepted and an official LSAC GPA calculated? Did anyone else get an email from Harvard??? It's just a recruitment tactic, right? It doesn't really mean anything?

Yeah. I was hoping I had miraculously gotten a fee waiver somehow, but no. I wonder if they sent that to everybody?slizerd wrote:Did anyone else get an email from Harvard??? It's just a recruitment tactic, right? It doesn't really mean anything?

Re: 2015-2016 Fee Waivers
RC, did LSAC recently post your Academic Summary Report? I also received a Chicago fee waiver last night, but I was not in the "first wave". My ASR was posted on Monday, rather than last week when all of the fee waivers were going out. Just wondering if it is required to have both your GPA and LSAT score on file to receive some of these waivers.lolRCscrewyou wrote:Fee waiver from Chicago today!

I jumped out of my bed out of excitement when i receive an email from Harvard today, but it later turned out to be an invitation to apply letter....
Does anyone know how to get a fee waiver from Harvard? Or should I just pay the money to show my respect?

Re: 2015-2016 Fee Waivers
They give absolutely zero waivers based on merit, it would have to be an extreme need-based situation to get one. I'm feeling pretty broke, but I'm gonna suck it up and pay =/ It's Harvard, I'm sure they expect people to be willing to pay.brief_little_candle wrote:I jumped out of my bed out of excitement when i receive an email from Harvard today, but it later turned out to be an invitation to apply letter....

Even though I'm probably going to get rejected to most of these schools, a fee waiver makes it worth taking the 1 in 100 chance, right? RIGHT?!

You know what the CLS cutoff tends to be for LSAT for fee waivers?gamerish wrote:Columbias is entirely LSAT based so you should get one whenever they do their next wave.RZ5646 wrote:Columbia and NYU are the only ones I still need
I don't have NYU either so no words of wisdom there.

I'll trade you my NYU waiver for your Chicago waiver (if only)gamerish wrote:Columbias is entirely LSAT based so you should get one whenever they do their next wave.RZ5646 wrote:Columbia and NYU are the only ones I still need
