the most concise rejection i ever got was from a music festival:

"Thank you for applying to Music Academy of the West. The audition committee has reviewed your file and has not admitted you. Should you have any questions, please contact XZY.

Thank you,

XYZ"

I always loved this shit. As if you've somehow got a question for them after they reject you?

"Um, Hi, XZY I was just calling because I had some questions for you.. Boxers or Briefs? Big house small yard, or small house big yard? True or False... all is fair in love and war? Ok excellent thanks for your time."
