Ok, so it means that you do have a preference, but you'd prefer not to share. Sounds like a perfectly reasonable plan, especially since you're advocating such a well-supported and rational position that isn't at all informed by your own personal biases.chicagoburger wrote:cavalier1138 wrote:
If you're going to criticize the test and say that it's a bad criterion for admission, then yes, you do need to propose a better one. Otherwise, you're saying that we should stop admitting students to law school altogether until we can figure out how to implement a system that is absolutely perfect and fair in every conceivable way. So put up or shut up (and get back to studying). .
I don't like white on this wall because it's ugly.
That doesn't mean that I need to tell you what color I prefer, nor does it mean that I want no color on the wall.

You just reminded me of something in the past. There were people in strong support of the slavery system until it was broken by Lincoln.
I am no Lincoln, nor someone that sees a stupid and sick system and refuse to call it out.

Re: Law School, Science Grad Program, LSAT, and GRE
There are a couple of ways to do extremely well on the LSAT: have innate ability to perform at a high level or work diligently to reach that level of achievement. Both communicate a lot to a law school.
Being a nice, well-intentioned person is not a skillset.
I had a friend who questioned why the application process for medical school was so rigorous and thought that students would be better served by an apprenticeship program for medicine much like for building trades. Theses systems continue to remain in place because they accomplish their goals. Is there a better way? Possibly. Are you going to convince anyone by grumbling about the status quo? Absolutely not.
