Hi- first time poster. Also considering going to law school for hopes in the political/government field. Not sure what kind of politics the OP wants to get into but if you want to be a senator, you are going to need a law degree. House of reps, you probably won't need one.

Yeah, this is really bad advice. You don't need a JD for politics. Some people follow that path, but it's correlation not causation.
