dude are you seriously that dense? the entire premise of this discussion was actually to explicitly highlight and undermine that misconception. lmao. WOW.
you misunderstand me. I wasn't talking about what you said in your OP; I'm referring to discussions on this subject generally. your OP is obviously true, I don't think anyone thinks otherwise.
Fair enough. But you said the "premise" of the discussion - and the premise was my OP.

Hey retard, this thread is filled with stupid T14= Any school every in the T10 rationalization, which "simply reinforces the fallacious notion that us news and world report has something of substance to offer to the legal community and to prospective law students"
the purpose of this thread was to highlight the idiocy of using the t14 as benchmark for anything. the t14 carries its prestige because of the specific schools that just so happen to occupy the list; simply falling into or out of the t14 does not confer or revoke this prestige. thats all i was getting at - and this was in response to conversations ive seen on here that seemed to suggest that entering the t14 carried some sort of magical effect.

let's compare lives. aside from a few points on the LSAT, there's probably not a single facet of life that you have over me.

also 180orretake, DF's life is probably a pretty damn good outcome for you in about 5-6 years

195k is not impressive.

assuming this is true, if you were to make the absurd choice of going to law school and sacrificing your current salary/position, having DFs job (DC biglaw) would be a pretty good outcome for you, especially considering your stats. DF already acknowledged that if you don't go to law school you'll probably have a better life

i dont make 200k. i make about 115 and where I live that really isnt that much. if you are in the suburbs somewhere then yes, 195 is impressive.

then again DF, you just admitted you're married, so your life is fucked.

he's married? ouch, i didnt even consider the implications at first. that 195k probably translates into something much closer to my salary.

Given where this thread started, I'd say that this has gone uphill. Not joking. DF flame war way more entertaining than the boring (and barely intelligible) topic raised in OP.
