This is probably just a footnote on the list of reasons to take a little time off, but its nice to spend a couple of years in the work force and save a little bit of cash before spending three years without income. This is of course, assuming you can get yourself in a position to do so. But yeah, traveling the world and finding yourself and stuff sounds cool too.

LOL traveling and finding yourself... Is this a tony robbins forum? Those things cost money and school is not stressful, the job market for TTTT UG grads is - if you could get something better and more fulfilling and lucrative than law that you can see yourself doing for a career, go for it, but that's not the majority of TLSers. The fact is, it's a trade-off, you might get a little bump in interviewing but you paid a few years of your life to 'discover' yourself to pay for that bump. Not to mention, if you go to law school sooner, you start your career sooner, you buy a house sooner. I can' think of a shittier deal than having to be a paralegal for a few years to find out if law is right for you; that job would be flat out embarassing. Just talk to a few lawyers.

Yea hindsight is 20/20 and most people who turned out fine with prior work experience won't admit that they wasted a lot of time in between UG and law school. But it's impossible to know if they would have turned out better or worse without that W/E so they err on the side of optimism to jutify their choices. And for 0L's giving out the wait and retake advice, you have to wonder where their interests lie, they are your direct competition in the event that you do attend law school when they do.

You better be a hard science major at MIT or a West Point cadet, otherwise LOL at "the stressful environment that is college."
working basically full time + full time course load + USG and other club responsibilities IS a stressful environment.

Going into it, everyone told me that being Kjd would be a disadvantage but it didnt turn out that way for me. i strongly believe that its in how well your story comes off and that you present yourself in a mature way.

No one is saying that being KJD dooms you to unemployment, or that KJD's don't get great jobs. It just makes it harder than it would be if you took two years off to get WE and mature. It probably would have been even easier for you if you had worked.

OP, while being KJD has little effect on admissions outside of Yale, Stanford, and NW, it does have a big effect on hiring for most jobs. Given the choice between two candidates at a school with identical grades and similar extracurriculars, they'll take the person with work experience every time.

Between identical candidates then yes im sure work experience would make a difference for a hiring decision. But you wont have trouble finding a job coming from a T14. IF you think youre ready for law school OP and you dont want to take two years off. then dont and go for it. My friends that are k-jd but also 2Ls and 3Ls have never told me that theyve experienced any sort of "negative" effect from it.
