Why is this at all surprisingSeoulless wrote:I'm not denying that it's harder. My curiosity is that its possible at all. Plus, there is weird stuff even in that regard. 2 from AU but only 1 from Penn?????twenty wrote:Look at the spreadsheet in the transfers forum. You'll notice that the institution is, as you so aptly pointed out, a "critical factor." It is much harder to transfer into Harvard from Hastings than it is from UCLA.
Penn kid is probably a sucker unless he was paying sticker to live in philly in the first place

They can now apparently if you're accepted quick enough.Moneytrees wrote:Can Cornell transfers attend OCI?

this is always how it was, but they rarely accepted people that early to really sign up for it. in the past, transfers could go to OCI and sign up for open slots + hospitality suites. problem is that their oci is so early (aug ~6) and the schedules are made ~two weeks before that.scottidsntknow wrote:They can now apparently if you're accepted quick enough.Moneytrees wrote:Can Cornell transfers attend OCI?

You're also only looking at absolute values, keep in mind Penn is a fairly tiny school.
