you're forgetting the biggest advantage of being a paralegal which is you will hopefully realize you shouldn't go to law school

Yep, this. I know a few paralegals who decided that law definitely wasn't for them. A few left to work for non-profits. Another did a PhD program. That said, if you're K-JD and you'd rather teach in Japan or Saudia Arabia whatever, go for it. A partner doing his sixth interview in a row just before lunch break would LOVE to hear some funny stories. It'll help you seem chill/normal, even if it doesn't give you the banking/consulting WE boost.
