I think non-numerical stuff totally helps...at a certain point.
If you're trying to get into a school like Stanford, they have tons of people with excellent numbers and have the luxury of choosing based on non-numerical stuff. The caveat is that you have to be on that level.
Similarly, non-numerical stuff can edge you over your numbers twin.
All in all, it can help in the margins.

Additionally, that was dated from 1997. I'm not so sure of its modern relevance anymore, let alone its legitimacy. What was the original source? I'm just skeptical.
Ultimately though, they're pretty damn important.

Damn, good catch. You think there's any relevancy or is 15 years just an entirely different environment? The formula was simply the weight ratio between lsat and gpa in individual indexes. Pretty sound, IMO (given that all other criteria are supposedly close to 0%). Could probably do the same thing with updated admission indexes.

I'm sure there's some relevance but mylsn.info is a better source to determine likeliness of admission.tennactitans wrote:Attax wrote:Additionally, that was dated from 1997. I'm not so sure of its modern relevance anymore, let alone its legitimacy. What was the original source? I'm just skeptical.
