once you get over the lsat 75th there are diminishing returns
if i could trade a few points on my lsat for a higher gpa, i'd do it in a heartbeat
but for those of us with low 3.4, the chances of hys approach zero, no matter your lsat score

Your goals don't seem to align with law school.

However if you're set on law school, I think your best bet is retake the LSAT and score 175+, then apply to most of the T14. If on the extremely small chance you get accepted to one of HYS, congrats! But CCN or MVP is at least more reasonable, if still a reach.

working my way backwards from your post, you graduated from your masters in 2011. I can say with certainty you weren't getting bulge bracket fixed income gigs in 2011 with a shitty state school masters/3.4 undergrad gpa.

if you were, you should leverage the connections that got you those gigs to get you into harvard.
