you don't have to threaten to sit out a cycle. just tell them you won't report your higher score unless they give you more money.

Obviously a more desirable outcome.patogordo wrote:you don't have to threaten to sit out a cycle. just tell them you won't report your higher score unless they give you more money.
Now for the hard part - actually getting a higher score!

Per my USC scholarship letter...cron1834 wrote:rstahl, did not know that about USC. In my case, I am absolutely willing to withdraw and sit out 'til next cycle if someone plays hardball with me. "This scholarship offer must be reserved via the Scholarship Reservation Form available on the Admitted Student Portal. Reserving your scholarship award does not confirm a final commitment to enroll at usc gould school of law, however, if you take the next step of placing a commitment deposit at USC, you may NOT also be holding a seat at another law school. If you hold seats at multiple law schools you risk having your USC Gould Scholarship offer withdrawn."
Like you said, you could still hold waiting a cycle as leverage, though it's not as strong a leverage as offers from other schools. Kinda bummed. I was hoping to take the LSAT in June too, but for USC it seems the returns might not justify the action.
