Also, did your school have A-'s but not A+'s? Because if that is the case then I only slightly feel sorry for you (because you're still in a great situation with "just" a 4.0). Otherwise, it wouldn't have made a difference because there is a much higher chance of getting an A- (90-93) than an A+ (98-100) in most classes.

I always tend to suppress this fact when I get mad about the ability to have a 4.0 ruined with an A- while lacking the ability to save it with an A+. I have around 10 A-'s and I would venture to say that I have not gotten a 98%+ in as many classes but I like to pretend if a 4.3 was possible I would've turned out some higher grades

I felt the same way when I learned that too But my 4.0 hasn't let me down yet, so I just secretly resent those lucky bastards who went to schools where it was possible to earn an A+.

I'm a non-traditional who took several classes over 25 years ago while in the military. I got deployed, did not withdraw, and took F's for the classes. I decided to go back to school a few years ago and finished with a 3.5. Of course those old grades came back to haunt me and dropped my cumulative gpa to a 2.77. I wrote an addendum to my app to cover the gap and explain the crappy grades. Does anyone have any idea how that may play out?

Because LSAC counts everything I actually got a .01 boost on my GPA.
