I posted this in the October Waiters Thread, but it needs to be here too. This is the most depressing LSN in the history of LSNs:

I just read the entire thing. So depressing... Kinda hoping it was a flame but it seems pretty sincere

I refuse to believe that this is real. It's just too depressing. Instead, I'll assume its some person with way too much time on their hands and a really weird sense of humor...which, now that I think about it, is almost as depressing as the former.

I hope I don't offend anyone with this, but how is it possible to score a 124 without a) trying or b) a learning disability of some sort? Wouldn't guessing all the way through earn a higher score?

To be fair, it's kind of a blessing in disguise. At least when he's rejected he has no chance of accumlating 200k in debt from a TTT. A 124 isn't really any worse off than someone with a 155 who matriculates to an awful school.

Lol, i know him. He just didn't update his account. Happy at UT w/$$ now, though I do think he underperformed his numbers a bit (Cornell was the highest ranked school he was accepted to if i rmr correctly). We talked about it and he thinks it's due to lack of softs/practically empty resume.

When I was teaching LSAT prep, I only ever had two people score that low on any exam (and I'm talking practice tests, not the real thing). In both cases, they spoke English as a second language (and not very well as a second language). This guy's narrative demonstrates a decent command of English. It seems way too long and involved to be a flame. I hope whatever it is the guy ended up doing worked out for him.

The lowest I have seen on a PT is 127, and the person was not ESL. It is crazy to entertain the idea of a 124 being possible, but it really, really is. Probably answered a few questions per section, got a small percentage right, and then didn't fill in any "guess" bubbles.

This guy seems to have had a rough cycle in 12-13 given that he is URM, has a respectable LSAT, and applied early. I wonder if what type of URM he was and if he had any significant C&F issues.

Eh, there's no way to verify whether these accounts are real. There is no guarantee the numbers reflect someone's real situation.
In fact, I know a lot of people who purposefully mess with their numbers so they don't get "tracked" by adcomms.
