what's left to settle? it gets added to your gpa, someone already did the math for you, all college credits attempted are included in your lsac gpa.

also, google ftw: http://www.lawschoolpredictor.com/wp-co ... ulator.htm

can i ask what the point of you asking a question was if you disagree with what EVERYONE has to say? just cuz its not what you want to hear doesn't mean its not good advice
A lot of broken records here. For one, my ability to get in was not the question. If you need a refresher on what the question actually was, see the subject line.
Hate when I give solid advice to people, then they turn out to be assholes.
I'm sorry I'm giving you that impression, and that last reply was not meant towards you. You've been nothing but helpful and not a tremendous dick.

I'm going to get this GPA question settled and then move on to the final decision. the 168 was a retake from a 159. However, to go where I need to go I don't think another take is a good call right now.
each additional point you got on a retake would be worth ten times more than any gpa change that doesn't put you over median, which at this point, none will. Just ask about the pass fail thing, might work. Then hit the books for Oct, you can do it. T14 is ambitious without a retake, t6 is possible with one.
Don't get me wrong I definitely hear you, but this isn't really the issue I'm looking to address in this thread. I've poured over numbers for the past few months. I feel confident on a lower t14 shot and I feel that's a realistic good goal for me.
I got you man, but you are posting in a law school admissions forum, wanting t14, but posting numbers that aren't likely to get it...naturally people are gonna give you the advice you need to reach your goal...a solid retake puts nyu on the table, and money at the lower t14... this gpa change is practically irrelevant, these people are trying to help you...

Like everyone else who ignores pretty much consensus advice, make sure you have backup plans.

Forgot to mention earlier that the 3.46 calculation is assuming you've taken no more other than six other hours classes on an ungraded basis.
