UCI sent me an email saying they have no app fee, idk if that is standard or if its a fee waiver.

I got one from Richmond (next cycle) and some non-ABA schools (for this cycle).

Anyone have a t14 yet or know when they sent them out last year?

I got a handful of fee waivers after taking the December LSAT, roughly 1-2 weeks after getting my score.t14splitter wrote:Anyone have a t14 yet or know when they sent them out last year?

I've received waivers from a few schools that I wouldn't attend, but they're close in the rankings to schools that I *am* interested in. Is there any benefit to applying to schools you wouldn't attend, other than using those acceptances (if you're accepted) to hopefully leverage more scholarship money out of schools you are interested in? Any potential drawbacks?

Six fee waivers from t100's so far for me. Some are pretty solid, but no t14... If I received a t14 fee waiver it would be a pleasant surprise.

Don't we have to pay 25 bucks per app regardless of fee waiver for that LSAC report?

From this June's LSAT, so far I've gotten fee waivers from University of Kansas, California Western, U Richmond, William and Mary, Mississippi College, and Indiana Tech. I am not impressed. Then again, I wasn't impressed by my LSAT score, and plan to retake.

I'll add Western New England to my list of admissions fee waivers. ETA: Charlotte School of Law. Oooh, boy.

Re: 2013-2014 Fee Waivers Rolling In
Scored 163 in June and have received several fee waivers in the top 100.
W&M
WUSTL
Alabama (pre-LSAT)
Tulane
Michigan State
Kansas
Several others that I can't remember...
I think listing the state(s) you're interested in practicing in on LSAC has an impact on which schools give you waivers. Alabama said in their e-mail something like "because of your interest in studying law in Alabama, we invite you to apply for free!"
Virginia, Missouri, and Louisiana were all on my list too.
Oh, and today I basically got a $90,000 scholarship offer from Charlotte! (no, I haven't and won't apply
)
Anyway, that was my first take. Re-taking in October.

You sure? Charlotte has a better girl to guy ratio than most schools. Shouldn't they lead with that?AT9 wrote:

I got two emails from Charlotte, as well. One with the fee waiver, another regarding their pride in their moot court competition placement.
Where in LSAC do you say what states you'd like to practice in? ETA: Found it!

Drexel's law building looks legit as hell. I was admiring that thing in the fee waiver email they sent a bit ago.

I took the June LSAT last year, but am applying this cycle (2013-2014).t14splitter wrote:Anyone have a t14 yet or know when they sent them out last year?
So far, no T14 school sent me a fee waiver for this cycle, but here's the list of what I got last year.
(I indicated that I'll be applying for the class of 2017, but the schools sent me fee waivers anyway last year.)
Early July - Georgetown (email)
Late August - Duke (email), Northwestern (email), Michigan (post)
Early September - Virginia (email), Penn (email)
Early October - NYU (email)

Re: 2013-2014 Fee Waivers Rolling In
I'll be updating the list below as they come in. Also, Chicago sent out some hidden waivers on 9/19, but it appears to have been a small wave of them to candidates with varying GPAs but very high LSATs.
T30 ish (all unsolicited unless otherwise noted):
-Columbia hidden!
-NYU hidden!
-UPenn hidden!
-UVA (solicited followed by unsolicited #doublewaivered)
-Michigan via snail mail
-Duke PT
-Northwestern (code received after indicating interest via NU website)
-Cornell
-Georgetown
-University of Texas
-Vanderbilt
-UCLA
-USC
-Minnesota
-WUSTL (pre-LSAT)
-George Washington
-Emory
-University of Iowa
-Washington & Lee
-William & Mary (went to spam filter)
-Boston College (I didn't get this, but others did)
-Notre Dame
Lower Tiers (I'm sure I'm missing quite a few that came through):
-Vermont
-Phoenix
-Brooklyn
-Charlotte
-Rutgers
-Laverne
-MC
-Case Western
-Kansas
-Richmond
-Gonzaga
-Western New England
-Seton Hall
-Cardozo
-Idaho
-Chicago Kent
-Northeastern
-George Mason
-Villanova
-Colorado
-Penn State
-Maine
Sorry for editing a thousand times - trying to compile a complete list
