I don't think you're getting NU with a 2.2

It happened when apps were at their absolute peak. I seriously doubt NU is getting more selective as apps plummet.

But is NU worth it at sticker? 250-300K? Only way to pay that is Big Law? What are the odds of that? 30%?

30% chance of biglaw out of NU? I'm pretty sure NU places much better than that.

Regardless, just looking at the data, NU @ 2.2 is a reach regardless of LSAT, and it's going to be at sticker even if he does get in.

My GPA is not stellar, but can be improved.

Have you graduated? If so, you cannot improve your GPA. At all.

with that many credits left you can definitely bring it above 2.5, which will give you a shot at NU after working three years or so.

I just need my GPA to reach 2.7-2.8 so I have a shot at Splitter friendly schools such as Georgetown and NU, maybe UVA. I am not necessarily looking to get it above 3.0

I did however see that a girl got into NU with 2.58 and no work experience. I just looked it up on the Law School Numbers website.

Huh, I guess I'm wrong. I did an LSN search for 2.0-2.5 and 174-180 for NU and didn't find anyone.

That's because such people are rare, so they are unlikely to show up in the partial sample of the total population LSN provides.

I do think it's true. I was at a ~3.4 and 177 with 4 years FT WE, including ~2 years management. At the time of application to NU, all the FT experience was between when I stopped going to UG and when I went back. Rejected.

Now, I don't know that I would have gotten into NU had the WE been post-UG, but I'm guessing I would have. YMMV.
