25th and 75th %iles will be what you are interested in then. If the margin from 25th-->50th is large you will know schools took splitters and depending on the margin from 50th-->75th you will see perhaps whether schools favored deep splitters or if they didn't care as long as you were above median. Ex: WUSTLs 50th and 75th LSAT are probably going to be the same or 1 apart because for them as long as you are above median it doesn't matter how far above you are. On the other hand NU takes deep splits too but seems to prefer LSATs to be higher than median.VUSisterRayVU wrote:I feel like we're not gonna see a full story just based on medians. Rather, splitters are going to be admitted more readily at schools that were less splitter friendly. This was hinted at through some of the people on LSN but it's really hard to get a worthwhile sample since there's 1. Only so many splitters and 2. Only so many on LSN

Considering George Mason had a class of 300 just two years ago, now a class of 160 just seems absurdly small. And they STILL dropped medians.
Law schools, the end is near.

SLS's orientation technically starts the 29th but we likely won't hear anything about medians until the 30th, so you can probably dispense with the question marks

I guess we should hear from UCLA, Vandy, Columbia, and GW soon as their orientations were this week.

This. It may be wishful thinking on my part, but I doubt we're gonna see significant drops in class sizes across the T14. At most, it may be 10% at some place like GULC but even that would be huge and not likely imo.top30man wrote:Not surprising considering their shit employment prospects.thelawyler wrote:Considering George Mason had a class of 300 just two years ago, now a class of 160 just seems absurdly small. I think we might see some drop. Even Duke dropped 10% last year.VUSisterRayVU wrote:This. Do you think they could sustain a drop of 20% over two years AND take the median hit?thelawyler wrote:I think we might see some drop. Even Duke dropped 10% last year.VUSisterRayVU wrote:This. That looks fairly okay for them.KevinP wrote:Davis added
But we do know that the biggest drop in applicants were those with LSAT in the elite level of scores, so we'll see what happens up there.

No clue about medians, but Texas' class size is 300. (That's a drop of 75).
