LOLOLOL

I'm thinking about applying this to other things.

First to mind: sports power rankings.

If you closed Cooley, Florida Coastal, and the John Marshalls, then like 10,000 law students would be avoiding a hard road ahead.
I did not know this. I'm mildly impressed they manage to scam/enroll this many people.

I also thought the Cooley rankings were a demented kind of awesome when I first learned about it. It's all about the rankings... Solution! Make our own ranking!

I wonder who the unlucky intern was that had to call every law school and ask about their number of chairs in the library and square footage.

I'm not. They will basically accept anyone who applies at this point. There are definitely more than 10K recent graduates who will attend just on the basis of getting three years of free" living expenses. It's the schools that have traditionally tried to maintain some semblance of selectivity that are really in trouble.

It is a rare moment when genius and Cooley are said in the same post.

I'm just going to say it, I have trouble wrapping my head around the idea of ten thousand people taking out large loans to go to Cooley and its equivalents. It's not hard to accept that Cooley has no admissions standards and will admit 10k+ people, but it's impossible for me to square this with 10k people actually paying a significant amount of money to attend. Maybe it's because I'm poor, but I look both ways six times before taking on debt.
