YPed at UCI and UCLA.
Waitlisted at Chicago (ED), and Penn (I didn't write any essays, so that's not surprising).
Held at Columbia, waiting on NYU

That is a bold assumption,UCLA has a relatively hard GPA floor. Super splitters like you are not predictable, you should be pretty happy with your acceptances thus far.

Lets all withdraw from the WLs and laugh as the T14 struggles to maintain their LSAT medians. Just so they know they can't treat splitters poorly by mass WLing us, expecting us to write LOCIs begging to be admitted, then maybe, possibly, letting us in after we've already made a deposit somewhere else, just so that they can pick and choose people to let in of the WL to protect both their medians and yield. Yes this post is probably overly cynical.

I've been finding that saying "thanks, but no thanks" to waitlist emails is pretty damn gratifying.
