Why do so many law schools/buildings look like crap? Forum

They were all built in the seventies. Lots of schools have cool old buildings that used to be the law school, but they're really small, and so when the school expanded they just put up some modern box that now looks horribly dated.

That sounds like MY school!

Actually the E building was the university president's house, not the original law school. Stockton was the original law school building on the Foggy Bottom campus, and it is still part of law school.

I will now say nothing nice about the abomination that is Burns, and reiterate that our library feels like a battleship.

Interesting. I just tried to find the best picture of the school I could find. Not surprisingly, I couldn't find very many of the quad (also disgusting, BTW). Our school looks like four different toddlers made buildings out of play dough and smashed them all together. No consistency between buildings. They just connected whatever was there together and called it the lawl school.

Also, the battleship call is awesome. That's exactly what it is.
