Same here, I was kind of surprised - I assumed only schools out of the T-14 send these fee waiver offers. Are any other T-14 schools sending these out?Shawh wrote:I just got one from GULC as well.brownpride wrote:Just received one from Georgetown. This is pretty early...

I just added my application year, so hopefully I'll start getting these. Anyone know if any of these will be not hidden: Michigan, Berkeley, Chicago, NYU, or Columbia?
Thanks!
Thanks!

All T-14 schools except HYS and Berkeley send out unsolicited fee waivers.curiouscat wrote: Are any other T-14 schools sending these out?

Chicago and Columbia all sent emails, the Michigan and NYU waivers were snail-mailed with a viewbook and showed up as a hidden waiver much earlier than the letter arrived, and Berkeley does not give merit fee waivers IIRC.kulshan wrote:I just added my application year, so hopefully I'll start getting these. Also, I'm more than happy to help answer questions when I can, but all the information you guys could possibly need about when and how fee waivers come can be found in last year's thread: http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 2&t=122246 (this link should probably go in the OP).

Re: 2011-12 Cycle Fee Waiver Tracking
Where do you add the application year? I keep getting waivers telling me there are still seats available for 2011, I think they are confusing my application year or something.kulshan wrote:I just added my application year, so hopefully I'll start getting these. Edit: Add William and Mary (mail), California School of Law (mail), Baylor (mail) to the list but they are all for the 2011 cycle.
What does it mean when they say it's hidden?

Re: 2011-12 Cycle Fee Waiver Tracking
I don't remember where to add the application year, but no matter what you select you're going to get emails from (TTT) schools telling you there are spots still available for this fall. I set mine correctly when I signed up for CRS and still got them.Blessedassurance wrote:Where do you add the application year? Re: 2011-12 Cycle Fee Waiver Tracking
It means you get no notification about it, and it doesn't show up until you go to check out on LSAC. Here is a guide about how to check for these hidden waivers.Blessedassurance wrote:What does it mean when they say it's hidden?
Edit - that's from last year. If the LSAC website has changed or if that doesn't work, could someone please let me know so I can update it for this year's applicants? Thanks!

Are the Georgetown waivers only going to people that took the LSAT in June so far?
It's under profile, CRS and then under "edit preferences" it's in the "additional academic information" section.Blessedassurance wrote:Where do you add the application year? Re: 2011-12 Cycle Fee Waiver Tracking
I have a 174 but no official LSAC GPA (foreign UG) and didn't get the GULC waiver. I guess that's a bad sign for me. I'm not applying to GULC without a waiver in this economy.

Same stats and I have an official transcript on LSAC but I haven't gotten a waiver. Wonder if it's cause I took the LSAT in Feb...annyong wrote:I have a 172/4.0 and I didn't get one, though I don't have an official transcript on LSAC yetblehGPAgoodLSAT wrote:Looks like GPA in the high 3s and 170+RonnyDworkin wrote:Stats of people who got the GULC waiver?
